The Blue tick, which also is a sign of verified account, has made the people go crazy for it. For many, it is a way that the profile is more credible and is used to be given to those with celebrity status. However, the company closed its public verification program in the year 2017. But, now if the rumours are to be believed, Twitter is all set to bring back blue tick verification feature once again.

As per a tweet by Jane Manchun Wong, a reverse engineer by profession, if this latest feature comes into reality, it will allow users to do profile verification. Twitter has said that the company will make it public that under what criteria the company verifies a users account. The process will bring both transparency and quality so that the users would get to know why Twitter verified a particular account. However, it is yet to announce that when they will make this feature available for the users.
In 2017, the company has put on hold on its profile verification process as many of its users got upset after certain accounts got verified by Twitter. But after much deliberation, the social media platform had said that it is working on bringing the feature back for the users. After this tweet, things are confirmed now that Twitter is all set to bring back blue tick verification feature.
